Haha
Surprised at some picks I like it though. i dont think its flashy but i can see some players being more good solid pro for a number of years than flash in the pans. A good rebuilding draft imho. |
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
surprised by the player but not the position. i was hoping for a bit more of a change in the draft approach after the last couple of draft.
You know i hate Rob and i try not to beat up to much but boy since he came to town i am one unhappy camper with his influence in the draft. so far he suxs even worse than i feared when we signed him |

Everytime he begins a broadcast, I have to turn the volume down to 50% of what the setting was... They pair him up with Jim Mora for Saints games on the NBC affiliate which guarantees a MUTE selection... |
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
I think he is on a short leash this year
Allen being around and Ireland involved in the draft. I think aot of the staff should be on the hot seat |

sell me on Tull again still trying to get past letting Gains slip away |
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
I think loosing Tyrunn Walker is going to hurt a bit not getting a true replacement here

Tyeler Davison is an interesting pick. in the fifth was a bit of surprise. i had him at the best a 6th. i know some were really high on him. but that surge in the rankings was in the off season beauty show. which usually have little effect on me. the dude is a fire plug

Can Davison play as a DE or is he a DT/NT No issues with the pick but Walker was a good player. I understand the cap situation is probably what forced our hand |

Waller is gone! Baltimore!
|
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
Tyrunn Walker i fear will be a player we will regret let slipping away down the road.
|
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
Still like to have kept Walker if we could for more rotation
Damn Ravens |
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
I really wanted Waller! Such a big target! Damn....
|
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
Hopefully McBribe survives
|
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
Well I might not agree with all the picks we got but we just got much better on the D side of the ball with starters and depth. We needed it!! Hate the picks or not I hope each and everyone of them become great players for us.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
How do we know McBride will succeed? He played for William&Mary
|
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
i still don't get our last trade. makes no sense to me
|
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
Charles Gaines, round 6 to the Browns who drafted after what would have been our 6th. We trade up for Damian Swann who probably would have been on the board in the 6th any ways.
Charles Gaines better sux. i had him as one of the best slot guys in this draft Swann better get back to his 2013 form and then some. 5 to 1 we just drafted another safety. |
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
i know we need defense heavy and we need competition in traning camp. but swann is one db too much. we have a lot of other needs. that's why it makes no sense to me. we still can grab db's in udfa to compete. our wr corps is pretty small
|
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
5 to 1 we just drafted another safety in Swann

The only guarantee at CB right now is Keenan Lewis. Even Browner has to prove he can start on the other side. I say the more the merrier. Sean was not Bull Sh!tin when he said we traded Graham to bolster this defense. Let's geaux. I am stoked about the draft yall.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
Chip Kelly says absent G Evan Mathis has been available for a trade for two years and "we've never had an offer for him." #Eagles
well either they want too much or teams can smell the desperation |

Larry Holder retweeted Brody Seems that way. I'd bet on some UDFAs being added at those spots. Larry Holder added, Brody @SAINTLYnSnDiego @LarryHolder @TheSaintsBeat does the fact that the #saintsfc didn't take a WR, C/G or TE mean they're comfortable with who they have? |
Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread
they're comfortable with who they have? ask Drew i am sure he has a different opinion on that one.

Think we should have picked Jalen Strong when we had the chance, we traded our top two pass catchers to fill bigger needs but never added anyone to fill the WR void.
