This defense is worse than the offense...our o line is terrible but it's no excuse for this defense...if you told me 4 years ago that we can have Brandon Browner, Keenan Lewis and Jarius Byrd all on the field at the same time I'd be calling top 5 defense...it's a reason Dallas let him go and we were just in denial

Was our defense ranked in the top 5 in 09? Look this is something I hated to do. But that defense around Peyton.........half of it was good before he even got there. Brady? Yeah pats were a good run defense for years, and they only needed to work on the secondary. Here's the thing, you can't expect a defense to stay good when you let go so many contributors. I'm sorry but that's just how it is.

This sucks to say but are you willing to risk Drew Brees health to be a top five defense in two years? I'm not.
