Re: Even J.J. Watt agrees with me about Right Tackle

At this point, I hate to say it like this, but part of me is like, the more embarrassing the better, bring it on -- because that is probably what it is going to take for the light bulbs to go on and the coaches and ownership to really take things seriously again. This whole idea of a band-aid here or there, little cosmetic changes, or saying "we'll look at the tape, we just need to clean a few things up" as if that's ALL we need, is just completely disappointing. I'll be rooting for a Saints win on Sunday, as I always do, but if it's NOT gonna be a win, I actually kinda hope the Panthers completely demolish the Saints and run up the score in embarrassing fashion, to make national headlines and get commentators talking about it.

If Payton and Loomis hear clips of Watt saying this stuff, on all the sports shows, all week long, then GOOD. I'm glad he talked smack and said that stuff into the mic. They need to hear it.

Re: Even J.J. Watt agrees with me about Right Tackle

been preaching this since Strief became a starter, at this point the only way he will get benched is if 1)he gets hurt or 2)he gets Brees killed and he's almost done the second option on more than one occasion.

I liked the drafting of Peat but just don't know if that was to settle the mob or if they are serious about changing this around. He's a 1st round pick and it took until week 12 for him to start, that's on the coaches not him.

watching peat get burnt so many times in the back up role;he just don't have the quickness to compete against the best, as a serviceable tackle sure but I see why some scouts have been axed. a clear miss on a first rd pick that had to go into battle at once.

So wait...is Brees trying to say when gets sacked, it's his own fault because him saying the RT didn't give up a sack is laughable. I really wonder if they watch the same film from the game that we saw on tv.

Drew is holding onto the ball longer than usual as well, so we need more than a right tackle re-work.

Drew doesn't trust his WR's and he's holding onto it too long. Gone are the days of carelessly heaving it to Jimmy Graham in double coverage (thank goodness.) Still though, he doesn't have a single serious receiving threat.

Until some draft pick is made or someone beats him out he's the man. I do think that our line needs help even at depth.I am rooting for Peat at G, could mean a big difference come draft day.
