Brees is under contract and has publicly declared he wants to restructure an extension. I'm sorry but I am calling out your ass here. The fact it's taken so long ... ... shows that it does not need to be finalized yet. if he cannot decide he wants to play here, then just get lost. If you can't decide to be a loyal fan either carry your ass to Atlanta or take a xanax. We don't need all this bribing and courting for him to sign. Um, where in the hell is the bribing and courting? Are you even capable of having a clue? Honestly. Sheesh! Someone hold me back. |

Did you think I was talking about Drew? I was talking about Fairley and I can say whatever the hell I want to say about some douchebag off the field who's been a past problem. Now take your posts and your accounting degree and shove it down your throat because honestly you're not the poster I want information from. |

NFL Rumors: Nick Fairley Leaving Los Angeles Rams For New Orleans Saints |
Re: Nick Fairley in town
He hasn't signed yet so I hold on to hoping that he doesn't for now

Re: Nick Fairley in town
I just don't get all you that want Fairley on the Saints, he's no better than what they have at DT now just with added baggage

Re: Nick Fairley in town
Well that pseudo guido sure knew what he was talking about.

Re: Nick Fairley in town
So, is it official? Regardless of where you stand on this potential signing, at least you got a FO that goes out and tries to address deficincies during the offseason, #shrug.
I looked at a recent photo of Fairley in a St. Louis uni, and it actually looks like he lost some weight, so maybe DET not picking up his option did him some good, #shrug. Not for the risk averse. I loved him coming out of college and actually thought he had more talent/moves than N-drama-kong. He immediately disappointed with his weight problems, lack of motivation, some off-field issues, some injury issues, inconsistent play & drawing flags at the worse times. You woulda' thought with his pass rushing ability and lining up next to Suh and his alleged "double/triple teams" on every play, Fairley woulda' recorded double-digit sacks at least once in his career, but he is who he is, #shrug. He has a little "Junior Galette" in him, so be careful what you wish for,. Does this mean the Saints are going to the 4-3? I know nobody ever really runs a 4-3/3-4 anymore, but IDK if Fairley has ever played the nose tackle postition or if he's really suited for it. He had a decent year with St. Louis and he looks healthier, so maybe he's got his act together, #shrug. He's a defensive tackle, and if nothing else, the Lions proved that spending big money on a postition that doesn't really impact the game that much, does not necessarily pay dividends, so if you got someone on the coaching staff who can babysit him, constantly motivate him & maybe stroke his ego, he might work out ... at the right price, of course, :). I'd like to see him live up to his potential, a beast in college, he's still in his prime and when he's on his game, he gets to the QB, no "if's", "and's" or "but's" ... just getting him there always seemed the issue in DET ... maybe call St. Louis and see how they handled him, #shrug. Good luck! :) |
Re: Nick Fairley in town
He's definitely better then anybody on our defensive line not named, Cam Jordan. Better yet, he'd probably be the 2nd best player on our entire defense.

Re: Nick Fairley in town
He may be good but when I hear of any NFL player who is overweight and or struggling with smoking dope, then New Orleans is a bad fit.
Without the right babysitter he could end up 500lbs and smoking rope for ages before he hits the field. I hope he keeps it straight because the dude is a raw talent when he's lean and hungry - which is the problem. |
