Do you really believe after finishing 4th in defense the previous season Payton had anything to do with the scheme change? Because if you do I have some bridges I'd like to sell you, real cheap. Ryan tried to do the same thing in Dallas. It didn't work and he can't blame that on Payton.

The game shouldn't have been that close to begin with. Vernon Davis should have been doubled off the line. None of their wideouts would've hurt us. But, what's done is done.
