The 3-4 isn\'t some kind of \"magical\" defense that allows a MLB to post a lot of tackles. It still involves a MLB diagnosing plays, getting through blockers, then wrapping up and bringing the ball carrier down.
I really don\'t think making the switch to the 4-3 is that difficult. It ain\'t exactly rocket science. In fact, in the 4-3 the defensive tackles are suppose to keep the linemen off the MLB and allow him to make plays. |
