I never remember us looking for guards back when nicks and evans were doing their thing. My hope is that evans gives us enough this year at rg to hold things together. Peat looked better at LG. So there may be hope we could be just decent enough. That could get us to the playoffs.
That's all we need to have the number one offense in the league again. Add in an improved defense and we don't have anything to worry about.

Agree. I usually trust PFF to a fault, and got burned sometimes trusting their figures. Not many times though. But like your saying I think even if you may have 5 superstars, if they cant work together its a mess. They need to jell. Hopefully this year.

8. New Orleans Saints
Projected starters: LT Terron Armstead, LG Tim Lelito, C Max Unger, RG Andrus Peat, RT Zach Strief

Roster depth: Senio Kelemete, Landon Turner, Jahri Evans

Key stat: In 2015, the Saints’ offensive line recorded a pass-blocking efficiency of 82.9, the third-best mark in the league.

The Saints have the potential to have one of the better O-lines in 2016—if everything goes right. Terron Armstead was tied for the second-best pass-blocking efficiency among OTs last year, center Max Unger had his best season since 2009 in terms of pass-blocking (though his run-blocking didn’t live up to its reputation), and Andrus Peat is expected to improve after an average rookie campaign. Strief, at his best, was among the best right tackles in the league, but over the last two seasons, has declined to just an above-average tackle. If everything goes right, this can be a top-three line.

I think we'll be OK

I actually think we'll be alright. We've all played together before and were successful.

This has to be a joke. I'm going to keep bashing PFF until the day comes that people finally call that garbage what it is.

The offensive line that is UNIVERSALLY acknowledged by observers everywhere as one of the worst in the league, and even our own coach has expressed his concern. You rank them 3rd BEST in pass protection?

For the love of all that is good, can we please stop paying any attention to what these trolls are saying?

I was listening to NFL radio yesterday and on one of those shows, it may have been the one with Pat Kirwan, they were talking about New Orleans and they said the offensive line is better than many are talking about and they didn't think the Saints would struggle offensively at all. They aren't the only ones. It definitely has not been labeled anywhere close to universally as anywhere close to the worst in the league. I listen to football radio all day long and hear from all kinds of experts all day long and I don't get that impression at all.
