Ever since the suspension he looks like he doesn't care anymore. It's not fair to the fans, he's messed this team up in a big way.

Yeah we've got injuries, so do New England, they will be starting a rookie or edelman at QB and still find a way to win.

That's a great point...

Look, I wasn't happy when Dennis Allen was made DC and we were changing the defense, yet again, knowing we just spend the last three drafts getting players to fit a 3-4...

But D.A. is in now and we've made our change, let's just see it through and not reverse course again...

Because New England plan for the future accordingly

In 2013 we had a decent D, we had drafted players suited to a 3-4 scheme and it worked

Then 2014 and 2015 Payton demands Rob Ryan move back to a 4-3 scheme, with a defense full of 3-4 players.

Payton has no idea what he wants, he will make someone the scape goat but more importantly, he will deflect any blame from himself or his buddies and fire someone that disagrees with him.

And this is where I fault Loomis and ultimately, Benson...

Any team that has given one man too much personnel power has failed in this league (will cite Chip Kelly in Philadelphia as the latest example of this)...

Belichick, to his credit, brings in bright personnel people to challenge him and brings something other than "I'm the son of Coach (Fill In Name)" types...

Payton is still one of the best game planners, schemers, he just beats himself before he gets to the field with really bad personnel decisions and doesn't have a strong enough personality in a GM to take him to task or question him...

Travaris Cadet, celebrating after a first down, while down three scores in the late 3rd/4th quarter, pretty much sums up this year and the recent Sean Payton, post-suspension era teams for me.

Just like last season when Payton ran onto the field celebrating as if we'd won the superbowl, it was actually week 17 and our 7th win of the season, completely embarrassing.

Nick Fairley doesn't get a pass as well. Dancing (after a meaningless sack) as the clock runs, down by 3+ scores.

I don't get it.

Side note, has anyone watched Hard Knocks: LA Rams?

Their D line coach is one tough SOB, Former marine and screams at the D line if they don't win in one on one drills.

The D line is probably the best unit on the Rams team, whilst we have Bill Johnson who looks like he enjoys too much processed food and is so far up Paytons rear, he can smell the Vicodin.
