Stafford is not elite. You don't let a qb like him beat you. And you will see why when Rodgers goes into Detroit week 17 and wins. You don't keep losing to a bucs team we held to 16 points when the defense gives you every opportunity to put a drive together. If Brees is elite then Payton's the problem for saving his best years for years they can win everywhere and not just one side. That's not what winners do. The QB always comes first especially if we're gonna compare him to Brady. We've had something wrong on the offense each year. |

My point here is, that Brees is an elite QB. His numbers prove that. Yes he's had some bad games, but dude you can't say he's "not elite" because he had a few bad games. But your opinion is just that, yours. And I respect your right to have it, I just don't agree...At all. And I'm sure you don't agree with mine. You just seem to want to fire everyone. |

I'm not entirely blaming Brees. I'm blaming Payton. The best coach and qb tandems of all time did not miss the playoffs two years in a row, let alone three. Payton did put us in this mess with his actions in 2014 and if Brees wants to be a top passig qb he's got to have the offensive protection come first. If he was willing to hand it off as a game manager, that's different but he's not doing that. The way the saints are building bothers me. If we are winning next year get ready to hear about BG and Katrina because that's what you get when you have flash in the pan seasons. |
