But he leads the NFC in yards, TDs and completion percentage. If you don't call him elite, then you're going to be very disappointed when he retires and we have a mediocre QB. No offense Will but you sound like a Saints fan that became a fan in the last 10 years.

If you're going to knock him for his poor performances then you should give credit for his good ones too. Otherwise you just seem cynical and illogical.
I became a full-fledged fan in 2006(started to become one in 2004) so you're right.

Stafford is not elite. You don't let a qb like him beat you. And you will see why when Rodgers goes into Detroit week 17 and wins. You don't keep losing to a bucs team we held to 16 points when the defense gives you every opportunity to put a drive together.

If Brees is elite then Payton's the problem for saving his best years for years they can win everywhere and not just one side. That's not what winners do. The QB always comes first especially if we're gonna compare him to Brady. We've had something wrong on the offense each year.

Hey Will, Rodgers had several bad games in a row earlier this season and several fans and media were all asking "what's wrong with Rodgers?".

My point here is, that Brees is an elite QB. His numbers prove that. Yes he's had some bad games, but dude you can't say he's "not elite" because he had a few bad games. But your opinion is just that, yours. And I respect your right to have it, I just don't agree...At all. And I'm sure you don't agree with mine. You just seem to want to fire everyone.

Rodgers has had injuries on offense the last two seasons EVERYWHERE. He has no running game and the packers weapons really are not better than ours. He has a aging wide receiver in Nelson who didn't show up early in the season. He's had oline issues as well. But Rodgers has also expressed his disappointment with McCarthy.

I'm not entirely blaming Brees. I'm blaming Payton. The best coach and qb tandems of all time did not miss the playoffs two years in a row, let alone three. Payton did put us in this mess with his actions in 2014 and if Brees wants to be a top passig qb he's got to have the offensive protection come first. If he was willing to hand it off as a game manager, that's different but he's not doing that. The way the saints are building bothers me.

If we are winning next year get ready to hear about BG and Katrina because that's what you get when you have flash in the pan seasons.
