You still giving up on Kikaha at DE, JP, even on a rotational basis? I still think he has the talent to have more of an impact than being slotted as a backup Sam.

No Guido, not completely; maybe given up as a DE, but not as a linebacker...

You're definitely right that he can be a rush backer on 3rd downs, but defense will know what's coming if that's all he does...

Can see him rotating with Anthony, which will give him different looks to opposing offenses, thereby giving opponents pause as to what he'll do pre-snap...

Just don't believe he has the base, legs in a 4-3 to set the edge as a DE...

And honestly, I think he'll be limited this season coming back from his third knee operation...

If they could nab Butler for a 3rd(anymore is too much imo as he is a FA next year, they are not paying him). Th front office would be going into the draft in a really good place. Still holes but not having to reach

Believe he's got a first round tender on him...

Got to be worried about this; Patriots went out and got Gilmore, a guy they see twice a year, and left a guy who literally won them a Superbowl his rookie year and was their shutdown CB on this last Superbowl run...

Plus, why are the Saints suddenly enamored with him? Thought they wanted a taller CB for matchups? He's just barely 5' 10"! And if we're gonna commit that much coin, why not go after Gilmore and make cap room to accommodate the signing?

They wont make a offer on Thursday imo
They will talk and discuss a future deal before talking to the pats about a trade.

Lets saw we get Butler with a deal we keep #11. Wow, that opens up a lot of choices for us.

Ill be pissed if we give up 32 or even the 2nd
He will be a FA in a year and needs to be paid now

Problem with the defense is in the front seven, has been, still is...

Need a big legitimate threat opposite Cam...

Need LB depth all over the field...

If we need anything, it's safeties...
