Re: Saints Pick Christian McCaffrey RB at #11
Interesting comment. Instead of getting off the field on 3rd down on offense, we go on to score the TD instead of the FG or punt. Imagine this memory... going up 21 to 10 in the first quarter. Payton and Brees know offense better than anybody we have ever seen in Black and Gold.
The 2nd #1 pick or second round pick is going to the Pats for a CB. We can draft a DE with either left over pick. |

Re: Saints Pick Christian McCaffrey RB at #11
I really want a db with our first pick but I wouldn't lose any sleep if he was the offensive player we picked .

maybe instead of 400PaYd and 100RuYd you have 300PaYd and 150RuYd, you're defense is less exposed and therefore you're not giving up as much opponents offense... And we get back to winning games 28-17, 35-20 kinda thing... |

McCaffery has talent, but I worry about him wearing down. It seemed like Stanford really overused him. At least Reggie was in a somewhat balanced attack at USC with Lendale White.

Don't pass on great players reaching for a team need. How many times have we seen that not work?

In our offense McCaffrey could be: slot WR, RB (Shady McCoy type) and Kick/punt returner. Him and that tight end Howard are safest picks on offense. I actually think this guy is much better weapon on offense than WR we just traded.

Re: Saints Pick Christian McCaffrey RB at #11
We don't need another sproles. We need a LF7 or Mixon to take the pressure off an aging Brees. Personally, I would be ok with trading the #11 pick for Butler and both of the Pats 4th rd picks. Very deep draft. We would get a all pro cb and a extra pick. Taco or Barnett will probably be there at 32
