Wouldn't you like to see a guy who won't kill you out there?
If our defense is truly improved, then there's no reason to surrender any game because your backup is in the game. Anybody remember the 2000 season? We had a starting QB who, himself, was only decent (Jeff Blake), and then he went down and was replaced by Aaron Brooks. I seem to remember making the playoffs and winning our first ever playoff game. Just because your backup might not be a long term answer doesn't mean that you have to settle for a train wreck.
Yes but when Brooks came in he was exciting to watch. Chase does nothing. I think Nassib makes a better back up if you don't want to surrender a game. His arm is stronger and he is more sharp. If your back up is getting better or pushing for the starters spot I think you need to cut bait and move on at some point just like I have from Greyson.
