We'd be better off with a new enthusiastic coach players are willing to play hard and fall on a grenade for, even if that coach isn't as accomplished as Payton. We should also not get caught up in the offensive vs defense mindset of looking for head coaches. After all, we once hired the defensive Haslett and it ended up being mainly the offense that flourished! |
