Many of you have a better understanding of players and such then I do. I thought I would look back at what we were saying when we drafted AK

Right now it looks like one of, THE, best move of the draft. Some of us/you need to eat a big old slice of humble pie...

(I'm leaving out names you know what you were saying...)

MFer Payton!!! MFer Payton!!! Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!!!

He has not given up anything but a 7th this year
If we go deep in the playoffs its not bad
another 7-9 and its a disaster

Kamara might be the piece that makes us become the No 1 offence again. The type of offence that puts up 35 points on any team and forces them to try and score on every possession.

I can see Kamara getting about 10-12 touches per game until about week 3. Then maybe he busts one and starts getting about 15-20 touches

If he can hold on to the rock. Seems that is the main ding. Probably not a big deal. I could see him taking over games early on. He has the ability.

I see him more as a PT type of player from the highlight reels. He looks really good.....but not necessarily electric. He's a hard runner after contact and I can see him giving a huge lift to our special teams on punt returns too.

Let's not forget about Lasco either. However, I think we can forget about Cadet(thank God) and possibly Murphy

I like the fact he wasn't heavily used in College. Too many are run down by early bell cow work and shot beforr their first contract ends

They didn't move up, they exchanged this year's 7th and next year's 2nd for the pick to get the RB.
Pretty much the chart value for when they took the guy, and if he turns out to be something similar to what Thomas or Sproles was - then no one will question the pick couple of years from now.
It's a roll of a dice like all picks

I heard quite a bit about Kamara over the past two weeks on NFL Radio. More than one analyst compared him favorably to Sproles without connecting him to the Saints. Beyond Ingram and AD we really didn't have another RB that I felt was able to contribute enough to warrant the roster spot. Kamara could be the piece to bring our offense back to the 2009 and 2011 levels.

Here is my thought, we currently have 6 rb's that were either on the team last year, signed in the offseason or drafted. So who is the odd man out? MIA had his first 1000 yard season but he stays injured. Cadet just resigned and Lassco is only in his 2nd year. AP just signed a 2 yr deal and now we drafted a top 4 back in the draft. Could MIA be a possible trade option? Trad him aft r his best season to get the max?

WTF... Dont understand for anther RB

Alvin Kamara?????????????????????????????
grrr a 2nd in 2018 and this is the pick?
@!##$%^&*()(&^^%#&^^%&^%&^&^%&^*&^%^%&^$

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA F*** ME!... what a joke

Payton just sent next year's second round pick for a marginal third down back... Stupid, Stupid, Stupid...

I usually don't complain. But this is terrible

AND we traded up for him?!? This is ridiculous

Somebody get Payton and Loomis out of the draft room, please for the love of God

Here's what I said back then:

He'll have 11 TD's by week 12 and will be a serious candidate for ROTY.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what I posted but I can't find it anywhere.

Good point about his limited use in college. I want to see what happens in the next year or two and starts to think about his future. Right now he’s just thrilled to be playing in the NFL and playing balls out with no sense of mortality. One day he is going to have to decide if all those hurtles are going to be the best way for him to stay in the league long term.
I want to see him when he realizes he needs to play smart just as much as he needs to play hard.

I was not crazy about the trade to get a player that was not even a starter in college. But in SP I trust was my final verdict.

SP always liked his toys and he found out a WR like cook was not filling the void thus Cook was trade material. IMO

In training camp I said Darius Victor might be our best back. Where is that guy?
