Well, now. That's lovely news. The club had to have known about the likelihood of this coming down, so the acquisition of Boston Scott in the draft becomes clearer. And Kamara fantasy owners (Me in a legacy league) should have a nice bump in the first four games.

Wait until we hear the circumstances. Yes, it has to be classified as stupid, but it most likely isn't intentional. There are so many over the counter crap these days that have things that fall on the league's banned list. No player should ever take anything without running it by the team training staff first.

But, herein lies an issue. The most recent CBA restricts a great deal more of off-season contact between the franchise and the players.

As I said, let's wait and see the circumstances. A positive is that another back is going to receive valuable time until Ingram returns.

I know that the Vacarro and Snead incidents were extremely different. Curious to see what happened with Ingram.

I wonder if this keeps him from becoming our all-time leading rusher. Four less games to do it and then he’s a free agent.

If it does anything it makes his agent's demands on his next contract weaker. The Saints should be able to leverage this into a one year prove it year with a team option for more.

He'll get traded with RB injuries around the league. He could conceivably never play another game in black and gold.

Not good, for sure. But, as always, I look for what you can get from the experience. Backups get more game experience. Ingram has four less games impact on his body come playoff time. Ingram just lost all leverage in his next contract. I get to hear the doom sayers crack out of their basements.

PED's according to the NFL could mean so many different drugs. Not sure why he did not check with the team or the league before taking something. Makes me think he knew it could possibly make him piss dirty. Going into his final year of his contract makes me wonder if he will play another down as a Saint. A team may give us a rd 4 or 5 right now. I'd pull the trigger all day for a rd 4. Hate to see him go but AK will show out in the first 4 games.
