Re: Saints Trade for Teddy Bridgewater
I. Am. So. Happy. About. This
Thou unrealistic at the time I wanted him when he came out of college. He is a smart player that doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He has a good arm with a nice zip on the ball. I like that he is mobile but not a runner. He comes across as wellspoken and intelligent in interviews I've seen. I think that is important as he might be the face of the franchise a couple of years down the road. All in all he is one of my favourite young QBs in the leauge and I think this was a really smart move. |
W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

Re: Saints Trade for Teddy Bridgewater
I go down for half a day & this happens.
We got a 1st Rd Pro Bowl QB with a 2019 3rd Rd pick by giving up a 2019 6th Rd pick. How stupid are the Jets? Its rhetorical & doesn't require an answer, but praising the J-E-T-S' stupidity will be required when TB is raising a Lombardi in 1 year A.D. (After Drew). TB is perfect here, and I'll bet he's giddy to be working behind this line with these weapons in this offense. This is a man who is setting himself up to get paid big $$$ 3-4 yrs A.D. |

Re: Saints Trade for Teddy Bridgewater
Kind of surprised, I didn't see this coming. I thought we were going to with Savage who is a steady eddie with starting experience.
But Bridgewater is a solid QB. Maybe he's just quality insurance for this year or maybe he will stick and become more here down the road. The loss of the draft pick kind of stinks but I guess we would have to nail our late rounders and UFA's, it's been done before. |
