Re: Saints Trade for Teddy Bridgewater
While I have no problem with the deal I don’t think he’s the future. He will be a journeyman throughout his career. Good enough to get a team with a good defense and running game along for a year or two until they find their franchise guy. Worth the gamble.
I could be wrong, I wanted Culpepper instead of Brees so what do I know. |

Mikey Loomis and the front office aren't idiots. If he leaves (I don't think he will) in FA after next year, we will get the Jets 2020 3rd round pick. Of course there's no guarantee but I'm confident Teddy B will be a Saint for a while. End rant . |

Re: Saints Trade for Teddy Bridgewater
I hate the fact that the Saints only have one pick in the first two days of the draft but this looks like a no brainer, a pro bowl quarterback for a third round pick. Outstanding!

But if the team can convince him to learn the offense and give him the opportunity to take over when Brees rides off into the sunset, presuming that Bridgewater is healthy, it'll be quite a coup. SFIAH |

Re: Saints Trade for Teddy Bridgewater
We could have got Mack for a first and 3rd. Talk about hindsight
