Women still make only $.80 for every $1 a man earns. That means that a woman will have to work a decade longer to earn as much as a man.

Fun fact: A 1600s law in Massachusetts proscribed that a woman suffer the same punishment as a witch if they "tempted" man into marriage by wearing high-heeled shoes.

Over half a century after the US passed the Equal Pay Act, American women still face a substantial gender wage gap across the spectrum.

The statistics are correct as they are framed, but the framing is skewed. People are interpreting as women making 20% less for doing the same job. Which just isn't the case.

Actually it's a lie. It had been demonstrated over and over. They're taking all jobs and figuring the money earned over all fields and putting it into one pile. Women choose to work in fields that offer naturally lower compensation. When you take a male and female engineer with the same time in the field and working the same hours the compensation is near identical.

Being Intentionally dishonest about something is shameful.

I beg to differ. The numbers are based upon equivalent job ranges in equivalent industries as reported in US Census data. But, your mind will never be changed, so ...

I am not particularly well versed in this subject and even I know this to be false.
