Actually, WHODATINCA is absolutely correct. The article above from 8/27/2018 in the respectable BusinessInsider.com states the following:

The rest of the article show absolute support for the numbers. And it isn't just this one source. The same number can be found all over with little effort.

Unfortunately, it is the sad truth.

The statistics are correct as they are framed, but the framing is skewed. People are interpreting as women making 20% less for doing the same job. Which just isn't the case.
