Re: CB Patrick Peterson ... Should We?
Dude having seen that SB's are pretty damn hard to win. I mean I thought for sure in '11 we were going to get our second...no can do. Drew has one in his career..I just think if you have a shot at a SB and PP can go a long long way toward making that a reality, you do it
BTW go ask Dan Marino |

Re: CB Patrick Peterson ... Should We?
Cardinals GM and HC both saying there's no chance they trade Peterson. Of course Chucky said the same thing about Amari Cooper a couple weeks back, so who knows. I would be surprised if it actually happens though. There are a few other solid options out there for an affordable price though, if they're really serious about swinging a trade.

Re: CB Patrick Peterson ... Should We?
What if Drew retires in a year after his contract ends, can we afford Peterson now?

How many years did we have NO money and no cap but yet the magic bean counter figures it out. If it can be done, he will find a way!

Maybe there are actually two other gorillas in the tent? - The Cardinals owner is on the record recently saying (fairly emphatically) he won’t trade Peterson. That could be nothing more than posturing to get a bigger offer, which would make the next item a little more of an issue. - We have no 2019 1st, or 3rd pics... What are we willing to part with that would entice the Cardinals. |
