Bump ...

Per Mike Triplett tweet ,

A positive roll-call development for Saints: Undrafted rookie WR Emmanuel Butler was present at Monday’s practice, watching from the sideline. He has missed the past week with an unspecified injury. Hopefully he’ll see some preseason action to continue his hot start this summer

He was moving pretty good at Yulman stadium. He wears number 22. Did not stand out like Saquan did, however.

From what I've read and been told, he's done very well...

Saquan has just made these WOW stand-out plays...

Listening to some old beats like Lose Yourself by Eminem...

^^ reading that a 4th rounder & a 6th rd pick "stand out" at camp speaks volumes on our Scouting dept led by Jeff Ireland.

Yep. Last year when I was at the Zurich Classic, I made a comment to some friends who tend to get some Saints scoops more right than naught, that Payton had that foolhardy look...

They responded that I should be prepared for a disappointing draft as Payton was definitely more active in steering the draft than in 2017...

The Head Coach's input in the draft is invaluable, but it shouldn't be absolute...

If they'd just let Ireland do his job and they'd respect the mantra - Do Your Job, we'd see more 2017 draft results...

Yep. He'll need a couple of years of development to man a starting gig, but he has the strength, speed, athleticism to man a LBer spot in about two seasons...

In the meantime, he's gonna eventually replace Robertson on the kick coverage teams...

Speaking of late rounders/UDFA (Ozigbo) players ... Saints vs Vikes will be your first opportunity to secure a roster spot.

He's also 5' 9" and Taysom threaded it in the red zone - Great play on both parts...

I only post this to point out that I think it’s safe to say Ken Crawley is completely done.

Unacceptable & inexcusable. The confidence is gone. No WR at this level should be High School wide open like that. For a second, Crawley was completely out of the picture on my phone.

I'd much rather have someone else man those boundaries than watch Ken go back out there and repeat his early season performances from 2018.

That was my first thought when I looked at it. I thought to myself that TQS had only beaten Crawley and that was not that big of a deal.

Williams with Prob in the slot? Williams stepped up when he took over for PRob last year but is he the answer on the outside? Really up and down in the past.

We are set on those boundaries. Latt and add a full season for Apple instead of Crawley. Now factor in a healthy PRob in the slot along with a hungry rookie Gardner-Johnson in the mix. PJ will have to compete for a spot.

At worst, he's good depth.
