I agree with the underlined portion and I understand what you are getting at Beast.

Teddy hadn't played in a meaningful game since 2015 and he did exactly what Sean/Carmichael called on Sunday. In order to be successful at this level, others (O line, WR, RB, TE ... Cook I'm talking to you) must do their job. Football is the ultimate team sport and all 11 guys have to put in work.

"Fans" that still knock Teddy will see only what they wish to see on every play. IMO he has a long way to go but at least he took a step in the right direction vs Sunday and helped us get out of Seattle with a W. SP designed a game plan around TB and executed to perfection.

Time to build on his first win and carry over that momentum against Dallas.

Drew is going to come back and threads like this will be a faint, forgotten dream.

Why bench someone that is winning convincingly. I don't understand why anyone would to include Payton.

If TB is playing well I would go with the hot hand until the playoffs; then I would go with Brees and his experience.

Did you see the first half? Didn’t complete a pass to a wide receiver till right at 2 minute warning. Oh he was executing a gameplan made for his skills too.I did not get to watch the 2nd half but 177 yards all game and you ask will he be replaced by Drew if he keeps winning? Roflol! I’m not the coach, but if I were he would not have even played the 2nd half. Tell me that Taysom doesn’t bring more spark to the team than Teddy - and I’ll ask if you think everyone should get a trophy- winners and losers.

He is in no way going to replace Brees right now. I concede that 100%. What I'm stating is that there is a chance, a very small chance, he is being underestimated.

We simply do not know what he is capable of at this point. His numbers were not great but that was a major upset regardless. Even Brees would have struggled in that environment. It's tough as hell in there.

I will drop it for now but if he improves and gets a couple more W's the conversation will get catapulted by the pundits. Then by the fans. A couple more wins then it will be a thing and a question; what to do?

That's a question that shouldn't be asked while they're clearly taysom hill supporters to be the starter without Bridgewater filling out his 4 weeks resume

Teddy Bridgewater -

19 for 27
177 yards
6.6 yards per attempt
2 TD’s
0 INT’s
112.7 QBR

Drew Brees -

27 for 35
265 yards
7.6 yards per attempt
1 TD
0 INT’s
107.4 rating

Both games against the Seahawks. Both resulted in the W. We gotta back off in the kid.

Longest Pass Play: -1PaYd Att Screen Pass to Alvin Kamara who navigated 29 yards behind Ramczyk to the End Zone...

That's 9.32 yards per completion, including YAC; until Bridgewater had connected on that screen, he'd attempted only one throw just at 10yds...

Dallas has a much better D, and Pete Carroll has already showed the Cowboys the blueprint to Bridgewater; sit in shallow cover 3, make Teddy indecisive, hold the ball, put the strain on the offensive line...

THIS RIGHT HERE! TB is not a pro bowl qb. Since being in the league his stats have been avg. at best.
