Both games against the Seahawks. Both resulted in the W. We gotta back off in the kid.

Rez, seriously, you think Teddy faced the same level of defensive talent that Drew faced?

Of course not, but I think we should give the kid a break. We got a W. Let’s see what he can do against the Boys.

Teddy Bridgewater @ Seattle: PA 27, PC 19, 177 PaYd, 2 PaTd

Longest Pass Play: -1PaYd Att Screen Pass to Alvin Kamara who navigated 29 yards behind Ramczyk to the End Zone...

That's 9.32 yards per completion, including YAC; until Bridgewater had connected on that screen, he'd attempted only one throw just at 10yds...

Dallas has a much better D, and Pete Carroll has already showed the Cowboys the blueprint to Bridgewater; sit in shallow cover 3, make Teddy indecisive, hold the ball, put the strain on the offensive line...

You were also saying that you didn't think he had the mobility after the injury, but he sure seemed to move well and have good pocket presence eluding tacklers.

May I remind you that he had those throws to Thomas and Carr, which were negated by penalties and he also had that 15-yard run taken back - just to say that looking at numbers alone doesn't give the whole picture.

I'm not saying he'll ever be a HOF QB, but I'd like for people to give him an honest chance without constantly whipping out the "game-manager" card or yelling "getsom Taysom" like Hill is the second coming of Steve Young.

Re: Serious Question on Bridgewater

If we manage to get into the playoffs we want to go in with Brees behind the wheel. Brees is the starter #1 QB on this team until he plays himself out or retires.

Teddy is the starter #1 QB. Brees was the starter #1 QB. This normally happens when the backup becomes the starter.

why compare TB to DB? No qb controversy,DB is hurt and I am sure even if TB lights it up better than DB did in his prime,, DB will be back under center when healthy or playoffs. TB is just doing what he is paid to do and I LIKE IT

I see your point Beast. Ride the hot hand or go with the proven vet coming off an injury? I'm going to have to pick Drew because he always has the hot hand.
