Matthews or Eli perhaps? ... good cornerback depth is necessary. I'd also take a flyer on Clay. Situational pass rusher who had 8 sacks in 2019. Just don't trust Davenport's health past week 12.

So here's why - Matthews, at his age, would be playing SAM LBer, and we already have Zach Baun, Kiko Alonso, and Alex Anzalone set to compete there opposite DeMario Davis... Besides already having three options already there, I mentioned Baun first and for this reason: Baun will need the snaps to mature, develop as much as possible, why take that away with Matthews? |
