You get rid of DeAndre Hopkins and Carlos Hyde(1000 yard season) for whatever is left of Cooks and David Johnson and the huge contracts and Randall Cobb on a 3 year 27ml deal.

So you go from a top 2 WR in the league to having 2x smallish No2 receivers

It’s all about the cash, they already had the biggest bank to spend now they have more , they gave away Hopkins because he would have demanded MT Money. They have to resign Watson someday that’s going to cost coin. They dumbassed cooks to Houston in a head scratcher . But they can reload with a top wr in draft still on the cheap. It’s either the dumbest crap we’ve ever seen or the smartest?

Turn that 4ml into Everson Griffin
Trade all the 2020 picks for 2021

Believe me it'll work.

I ha e just reworked the Saints roster for and I currently have 5 1st rounders, 4 second rounders, 2 3rd and a 4th. And 2 1sts for 2021

or Chip Kelly? No Head Coach should have that much unchecked personnel power - that's why these teams get sideways...

I could argue either way on Kamara.

San Fran got to the SB last year with three nomad RBs.

And a coach (Shanahan) who is committed to running (even if it isn't working) the football & a nasty defensive front 7 that made life hard for a lot of QB's. AK has a specific "fit" in Sean Payton's offense. I don't believe no other HC in the league could use him the way we do with consistent production.

Remember we had Adrian Peterson, Mark Ingram & AK on the depth chart all at the same time just a couple of seasons ago.
