The very show you use to VALIDATE YOUR "OPINIONS"

One of the hosts dared use the phrase "DEVIL'S ADVOCATE"!!!

By your own definition the two hosts of your SIRUS XM SHOW DON"T BELIEVE IN WHAT THEY ARE SAYING and are just giving an opinion that is controversial in nature!!

Did they Think of the millions of listeners who tuned in, perhaps for the first time in search of "FACTS" ?

They certainly didn't consider their audience did they?
Okay. I'll bite. You yourself highlighted the difference. The host pointed out the fact that he was playing the Devil's Advocate (ie. not portraying what he was saying as fact). There is a BIG difference. He took the time to point this out. This is part of what makes Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller so good on Moving the Chains. They know that without that caveat some moron out there would take that as fact and run with it. That is exactly the point I was making with you earlier. People on these forums see isolated posts in a vacuum and cannot tell when someone is trying to be funny or not accurate in some other manner.

I can't tell you how many times I have seen people on the internet quoting articles on The Onion and other satirical sites as fact. I'm sure you have, as well.

Where was your CAVEAT when you rang the XFL $55,000 salary cap bell? Sure you admitted you were wrong but how many (Using YOUR WORD) "MORONS" read your false fact as the truth? You can't unring that bell. Those horses were long gone long after you shut the gate.

Personally I don't take anything any one says on this or any other form of social media as "FACT"

If your "MORONS" rely on any form of social media for "Facts" they must also subscribe to the theory "It must be true it was on the internet"

Again! Shame on them!

This is a forum dedicated to grown men playing a children's game for a living. Some who earn more in a week than the average American worker makes in a year!

When the outcome of a FOOTBALL game brings my loved one's back from the dead, feeds the starving, shelters the homeless and brings about world peace I'll be "SERIOUS"

If anyone needs to be "SERIOUS" it should be them about "US"

Like the winner of a football game this discussion we are engaged in will have zero effect on the price of potato's in Idaho!

The story says this has turned a "national spotlight" on the relationship between the Saints and the Catholic Church, but when you search the news it is only getting any significant mention locally. As I mentioned earlier, my former editor works for an AP office and he hadn't even heard anything about it until I brought it up to him recently.

AsylumGuido CONSIDER THE AUDIENCE WHO MAY TAKE YOUR POST AS FACT? ................ That "premier" was tongue in cheek, of course.

I can tell you, no one in Houston is hearing anything about this story, unless they're tuned in to this site, or others pertaining to NOLA.

Its another whiff for the soon-to-be-if-not-already-irrelevant AP.

On a personal note, Beer doesn't help the world, or raise the dead, and it
certainly doesnt bring world peace, or any kind of peace, except to me, except when ignorant rednecks are pissing me off.

But beer and football are both important in my life.
