Dissolving the Saints makes no sense. If the ownership and upper management were involved in something legitimately insidious, then yes perhaps NFL/NBA could force sales of the Saints and Pelicans, but I doubt there's a case to actually disband either franchise.

Where are y'all getting the crazy notion that the Saints management in any way condoned what any child molester did? They have had a long standing relationship with the local archdiocese that asked their advice on public relations, along with several other "civic leaders". The people asking for the advice are not the ones accused of any wrong-doing. The Saints said they suggested be open and transparent. From my understanding the church has been completely cooperative with the investigations. Y'all are buying into the ridiculous hype of the Associated Press trying to create a story.

Try educating yourself before jumping to all kinds of false conclusions. This is what I HATE about the so-called media today.

I should have highlighted IF, because I highly doubt the ownership is going to be implicated that severely. As I said in an earlier post, this smells like a shakedown. But I was just stating, in a remote total worst case scenario, the worst outcome would be a forced sale of the team akin to Jerry Richardson and the Panthers. There would be no reason to heavily penalize or get rid of the Saints or Pels, in the less than 0.1% chance it came to that.

You lost me at “The church has been completely cooperative “

If anyone asks you “hey I need advice on how to deal with this child diddling thing” you say no.
There is no circumstance where the answer is anything but no.
