SS (2) 27 - Malcolm Jenkins (FA 2020), 36 - D.J. Swearinger (2020 RFA 2020), 31 - Chris Johnson (2020 RFA 2020)

LCB (2) 20 - Janoris Jenkins, P. J. Williams (FA 2020)

To recap we now have a EXTREMELY TALENTED slot corner (although I'd like to see him at SS/FS) in Gardner-Johnson, an All Pro caliber SS in Jenkins and a ball hawking FS in Marcus Williams.

Not to mention two very good corners in Lattimore and Janoris.

On paper, the back end looks very good.

You can never have enough good CBs on your roster. I'm ok with drafting one.

What I'd really like to see early is help for the pass rush. That could be a LB or a DE.

We MUST affect the passer better this season.

+1.

Kurt Cousins had too much time in the w/c game. Gotta make these QB's uncomfortable/disrupt timing on some of those throws. I know we have Davenport/Trey in the rotation, however I still continue to beat the drum for a Free Agent DE.

Clay Matthews, Everson Griffin & Golden are still out there in Free Agency land. All had 8 or more sacks in 2019 but more importantly they are disruptors.

Surely, Mickey will fill one more hole in free agency before the draft. At least I hope that we don't go into the draft needing a LB'er, DE, back up boundary CB, and a back up O-lineman. We can't try to fill all these in the draft and still plan on having better depth come time for the playoffs.

Seeing stuff online about Kamara and trades, possible hold outs etc.
Anything in this locally or just internet gossip?

I would not be against it myself, as good as he is you just don't pay RB the sort of money he will want, especially not when you have a franchise CB and RT to pay aswell. The bad side of drafting so well is you will lose players, but RBs are far more easy to replace than other positions. Always preffered having 3 very good system fit RBs than 1 star myself anyway. Keep them fresh, and one injury doesnt screw the team

Can see Kamara getting traded - but Kamara plus our first and third and then another first next year for Tua and his suspect hip...

I'd personally kick Sean Payton in the nuts...

I'd send Kamara, Swap First Round Picks, and take their third - nothing less...

And unless Cincy blinked and Burrow was there, I'd then take either Okudah or a Defensive End...

If Kamara is threatening a holdout at training camp then I'd have to consider trading him for good value. The virus has left NFL teams with so many questions that I don't think this is the time to hold out. There are lots of decisions to be made in this uncharted territory this season and Payton and Loomis may not have the time for a hold out.

Although, Kamara is a huge part of our offense and he produces. With the proper usage he might stay healthy and be utilized in his joker role while actually splitting time in the back field. I can see where we could trade him but I don't believe that he will.

Trade Kamara? Now? The Saints are a legitimate SB contender with a 1st ballot HOF QB who is nearing the end of career. The ultimate prize is within reach. If the Saints front office don't intend to pay him what he will expect to receive in his next contract, then retain his services until his contract is expires, then let him go.

What is more valuable here. A unknown @ pick #54 in the upcoming draft or 1 year of AK and a future 3rd rd pick?

AK is Payton's toy. I could be wrong but I just don't see a trade happening with Kamara.

Payton loves Kamara’s football IQ. I just don’t see a trade happening either. There isn’t going to be a training camp to hold-out of anyway.
