It's quite likely that AK plays out this final year on his contract and Payton uses him like a feature back. If he handles it well and can stay healthy then the Saints can sign him to a good contract. Otherwise we get a compensatory 3rd round draft pick if he leaves next year. I seriously want him to stay but it's a win/win either way it plays out.
