I think they’d get along really well. They all hang out already. People were calling The Honey Badger a behavioral problem and the Saints didn’t make him an offer twice. He’s a Super Bowl champ and elite safety.

Thomas at the X.
OBJ at the Y.
Sanders in the slot.

It ain’t gotta last forever. Win now.

I’ve been saying this since 2009 though. Why the sense of “urgency” now though? If it’s soley bc of DB#9’s age and getting him SuperBowl#2 before retirement..., then we’ve lost out on an entire decade.

It's plays like this why he's out there. Folks expect him to be an all Pro when virtually on every play he's the 4th or 5th option out there. Even when a receiver is not the target, they need to generate the proper spacing and offer blocking. Tre is here because he does his job.

At the end of the day it’s the receivers job to catch balls, especially a player taken where he was in the draft. Hes just not doing it with any consistency. He’s not out there to be a Brandon Coleman, he was drafted to be a legitimate receiving threat.

So if he's sloppy and lazy and lacks confidence, then why is he such a big part of the offense?

So..... to simplify your logic. Having a uniform and getting on the field = to being a BIG part of an offense?

We should have just kept Garrett Hartley with all his misses... in every FG/Kickoff snap. Productivity is irrelevant.

MT#13 can be placed on the three week IR list, right?

Like I said, let's see if Payton was full of it, or if he really has faith in Tre'Quan...

The three week IR designation only applies to players testing positive for COVID. All other injuries follow the standard rules. We're just going to have to be a player short on our active roster. At least we can freely activate two players from the practice squad on game days. But, that is limited to twice per player for the season.

Commitment to the run game never hurts either.
