Watching Titans/Bills last night, I focused on former Saints 1st rounder SS Kenny Vacarro. He had a lot of mental lapses with us however the last few seasons up in TN, it's all but gone. In that system, he's actually been a pretty good defensive player for them. Coaching? |

At some point scheme complexity crosses the line into a confusing mess that even the creator has trouble following with out taking a moment to think about it. Dennis Allen’s ideas are probably brilliant and on paper the formulation works. The break down comes when defensive players are trying to execute his plan and its so complicated that they have to think. Those guys have time to react, not to think. 1/2 a second of thought puts a WR 2-3 yards in front of you. |

The Titans seem to turn over DCs as much as we do lately. |
