A Real Defense does not collapse on third and long or fourth and long as Dennis Allen's defenses do on a nearly cued basis...

And I find Sean Payton and Dennis Allen have too high an opinion of Malcolm Jenkins and what he can/can't do...
I don't care in the least how and as long as we win it is all that matters. The NFL is a week to week league and if you stress over every detail every week you are not going to enjoy it. I don't care what Payton does or doesn't do. I don't care what Allen does or doesn't do. A win is a win. When we win I am overjoyed! When we lose I am disappointed but grateful I had the opportunity to watch my beloved Saints play and am looking forward to that next opportunity. I'm not going to agonize over what I see as trivial details and let it spoil my simple enjoyment. I am being entertained and I am getting what I am paying for ... yes, Sunday Ticket.

Every week every team has players that make great plays and every week every team has players that make bad plays. It's all part of the game.

The one thing that does take some of the joy out of following the NFL and my team is the clockwork response from others after every game with the same complaints about this coach or that or this player or that. Rinse and repeat.

We've won games we COULD'A lost. We've lost games we SHOULD'A won. It is all a part of the game.

AG, that kinda has a bearing on whether the team is successful or not and you've got that Mr. Sunshine disposition that we love after a win...

And is so far as what others have to say, that's just sprinkles on the ice cream of a Saints game, sometimes it's chocolate, sometimes nuts, but no matter others' takes, have my own unique take and it's all good...

While it does have a bearing on whether a team is successful or not, my stressing over what they do or don't do has zero impact on what they actually do or do not do in the future. That's my point. Why stress over something that you (not meaning you) have no control over.

Win or lose some people fixate on the negatives. From my point of view nothing can be gained by that but increased anxiety. Perhaps others get some sort of pleasure out of it, however. I don't know.

All I said was that coming in here during a game, or after a loss, or even after a win, does not add to my enjoyment of my Saints whatsoever when I am bombarded by pointless (as in they can accomplish nothing) complaints.

I honestly believe that some get more entertainment out of the critique than of the actual games themselves. But, if that's what blows their skirts up, then fine. Just sharing my opinion.

That all said, I'll be seeing very little of y'all over the next ten days or so since I'll be on the road taking in four or five of my son's shows in Nashville and then cruising a bit of Route 66 on a round-a-bout way back home. A good way to spend a bye week.

Cesar Ruiz - 65 (86%)
Ruiz came in for Nick Easton, who left early due to a concussion. Overall, the rookie is holding his own. Easton getting the start at right guard over him has puzzled some, but it's all coming together.

I guess that answers my question.

They are probably just trying to bring him along slowly, since his conditioning isn't at the level of the other guys because of the time missed due to injury.

Lol Now people are saying Dennis Allen's D is too complex, eventually you have to look for common denominators as the exact same thing was said about Rob Ryan.

Either Payton and the staff are consistently drafting and signing dumb players or Payton himself is the issue.
