Re: Smart Play by Calvin Ridley
In Matt Ryan's playoff career he has had a Cardinal problem, a Packer Problem, a Giant problem, a 49er problem, a Patriot problem, and an Eagle problem.
Matt Ryan's second half performances in his playoff losses are insane. His offenses have been shut out in the second half of his last 4 playoff losses. His last 3 they led at the half and collapsed. He has been shut out in the 3rd quarter of all 6 playoff losses. His last second half playoff score in those 6 losses was a pass to Roddy White in 2011. Excluding two passes to Roddy White, Matt Ryan's offenses have never scored in the second half of his playoff finales. His split of 1st Half vs 2nd Half scoring in his playoff losses is 95-14. There have been different coaches, receivers, oline, dline, the common factor is Matt Ryan. He chokes. He is the core problem. His proponents can't get past his regular season performances and look at what is stopping him in the playoffs. |
