Much better than the five to eight yards lost on a sack. As someone who's supported him from the beginning, I truly believe he's exceeded even my expectations. He has two problems. He's having to follow one of the greatest of all time at his position, under the watchful eyes of a very spoiled fan base. And, it's on a team that has legit Super Bowl potential. About as pressure packed as it gets in sports.
Don't get me wrong, I really like Taysom and time will tell if he is the Heir Apparent. But his skills are raw and need time to refine. We're in a playoff run which is not the ideal spot to 'work out the kinks'. Although we're not privy to the workings of the coaching staff, I'm curious as to why they didn't bring in Winston, even for a change of pace, at all during the Eagles game.
