Too early to really give scenarios but worst case IMO would be if we were to stumble and lose out we would probably fall to the 6th position and have to play the bucs and it is extremely hard to beat a team 3 times in one year even
though we did it a couple years back vs panthers. I see turning this around and winning out though and still have a shot at a bye if the bears can beat the pack
and us, pack and seachickens all finish 12-4.

Agreed, the Buccs a third time.. Brady losing to Payton and Brees a third time in a season would crush him more than not making the playoffs.

That would cement the Brady vs Brees discussion and the talking heads that love Brady so much would never mention it.

And what's up with Jared Cook?

I don't like his body language. Everyone is frustrated on offense but Brees comes to you and discuss a play/wrong route and you're pouting?

If you don't want to participate, have a seat.

Who all got injured. How serious did it look for Hendrickson and Ceedy?

CJGJ and Peat returned. Trey, Marcus and 3Quan didn’t return.

I believe that Peat is one of our problems on offense. We are better without him. We've had injuries up and down the line and have not built continuity which spills over to the rest of the team. Ruiz is a little undersized to play guard. He isn't very tall and that lower center of gravity helps him control those big boys in the middle. He's still pretty young and he has plenty of room for growing in an NFL weight room. Mc Coy is a bit of a mauler and will be a solid guard next year.

Edit: Trequan just drops too many balls, doesn't get separation and still seems to be missing the "it" factor. Maybe he'll be better when he comes back.

Seems like the entire team is getting frustrated at how inept the offense is. Now our defense has to play on a short week after playing 2 weeks worth of snaps because we have a coach and QB that can't get past their own ego.
