I would argue what you call "freelancing" is him using his brain to diagnose a play and be in the right position. And in the case he was wrong, he has the ability to quickly correct and the speed to catch up and still make a difference.

Tuttle was double teamed by #62 and #67. Kwon needed to fill the outside gap between #62 and the sideline, turning Sanders back into the interior of the defense. Instead, he tries to slide inside behind #67 and Sanders has a clear lane to the end zone. SFIAH |
