I believe there is very much to this. Win or lose I can't see Brees wanting this to be his final season for several reasons.

I'd love to have Matt Stafford in this offense, but Detroit as usual have let their star players get beaten up.

A Stafford from four years ago, yes but not him today. He’s a shell of his former self and injury prone now

Idk why everyone gets so hung up about having a franchise Qb. I’ll take any Qb who can play at a high level for 3-4 years. The way the NFL is structured these days you can get away with it and have success using it as part of a formula. Especially true for the Saints the way Payton has an eye for Qbs

God! I hope not. He still looks good out there and gets the job done. Personally, I believe that he could manage the team for another couple of years and be successful.

He has lost the eye of the tiger this year. I don't see him coming back to a team and town that turned on him.

Drew would be the best deal at QB next season, on his contract he could go out the way he wants to go out, that’s rite, a Super Bowl in 21
