Well done Dude..they finally were letting it go and you had to start it up again. I swear..the season can not get started fast enough.
Dude had nothing to do with this. I wasn't even posting to the other poster and strictly speaking to and replying to Diz and Dude and the other person still replied to me. Thanks for sharing though.

What is your expectation for the season, even though it is a little early?

I can only imagine what you were like last season

I did watch my Saints in peace last season though, putting my fan-hood in question because I didn't feel like coming on here as much and dealing with all the negativity is erroneous...

But seems like negativity and attacking posters is right up your alley
When the going gets tough Mitch gets on a going

My bad then. It felt like the feud was calming down and then Dude went and quoted all the posts and it felt like he was stirring the pot. If not the case, then my apologies. I swear..you and Guido go after each other in almost every thread like ex lovers or something.

As far as the season..I dunno. I'm feeling good about the coaching changes and really think it is being over looked by everyone on the outside. All good, we do better as under dogs anyway. I think we are going to see some vast improvement from the D side barring that the injury bug leaves us alone. Unless we have a major implosion, I'm feeling a winning season. Enough to get to the playoffs? I dunno. I'm just ready to get it started so we can quit all the fighting over semantics. The past is the past. We sucked and were not good enough. But changes have been made so lets keep a hopeful outlook and support our boys in the black and gold.

That was me that stirred the pot, Mike. I have always been known as quite a good chef.

But I agree completely, the past is the past. It is time to move on and look forward to a much more promising future.

Yeah definitely putting some good pieces in place to build a good team, think we are close. Be nice to get off to a start and open with a win.

I have seen Dizzle and you point out areas of concern and areas of excitement. That's being honest. The loss of Unger is concerning. He is a really good center. The loss of Armistead is concerning he is a very good left tackle. Couple that with the fact that he just signed a huge contract and hasn't been healthy since is even more worrisome. The situation with Fairley is a concern because he was really good for us last year.

Positive areas are that Unger's fill in has been doing well. Kamara sounds like he could be a real stud. This Undrafted Rookie Maulet. Breaux sounds finally healthy and playing well. Lattimore sounds like the real deal. PJ if he can stay healthy is good. We could have a rally good backend.

Pros and cons. That's what it is as a fan. Not everything is good and not everything is bad.
Ted Ginn looking like a good fit too and Peat seems to finally be getting it. If we can start strong with the younger guys on the offensive line by the time Armstead and Unger get back we could be in a really great spot.
Again we have to win one of the first two. I think that is key.

Spike-Buh, Im expecting a Super Bowl. Yes, I really am.

Somehow Payton always manages to Cajun-Rig together an offensive line, and if he can do it this year again, we have the pieces to blow up the world on Offense.

As crazy as I think Guido is here... (In real life, he's probably normal, just like Foreverfan, who is not a rabid, psycho in a basement, with a fridge full of severed heads, wearing a batman suit, as his online persona suggests, but a completely normal guy like you would know from school, like an insurance selling kind of guy, who drives a normal car, with a smoking hot wife.) Anyway, as crazy as Guido comes off here, he mades some hellacious points about the improvement on Defense, on all three levels, and especially the secondary. Hes not the only source I've heard say the leadership, the assistants on staff, are greatly improved, and have potential to create magic.

We're one or two crazy guys away from great special teams... pending Forbath's consistency, and the best punter since Ray Guy, Thomas Morestead.

We are the greatest fans in Sports, and have the power to bring it any week, and New Orleans, the city after my heart, deserves another Champion.

Kool Aid? Maybe. I thought Richard Todd would take us all the way in 1984. But win or lose, I will be raising 12 kinds of hell in the Terrace this year. I just cant wait.

I am expecting Unger back by the beginning of the season. It should only be Armstead out and he was either out or playing hurt all last season and the line performed great.

Mikey you meant Lutz not Forbath right?

I actually think that kid is gonna be good. After the new ST coach was hired, I don't think the kid missed.
