Re: Nnamdi Asomugha
We?Saints fans saw some of that this past year perhaps? A golden apple doesn't turn into a road apple. Players fit in certain systems and not others. Ryan should know better than others, where his talents lie.

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha
One of the teams interested is KC............He does not fit that team and he will not be able to stop Manning when his own qb will not match him.
If we don't get him another team who runs a zone is going to get him. |

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha
I suspect he was money hungry when he had a boastful rep to push.... (shutdown corner, don't challenge his side of the field) A humbled man may not be so quick now to chase whats not best for him, we have a terrific shot.

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha
Its funny watching all these big names come across hoping they accept league minimum and yet they leave for lesser teams for more money.
All we have to show thus far is a long snapper... |

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha
God, we need this guy. I don't wanna hear the age thing. Champ Bailey is still getting it done at a VERY high level and he's 35.
So as long as you don't leave him 1 on 1 with Torrey Smith. But honestly, what CB could go 1 on 1 with Torrey Smith? Anyways, it was more of the wrong system than level of play for Nnamdi. |
