Deshawn Watson.... should we?

Saints are 90M+ over the cap with very little flexibility. Gut up almost the entire roster and still be over. DW would be running for his life with back ups & 2nd tier O lineman.

Take another shot at drafting the next Patrick Mahommes in 2021.

I've been wrong before but I just don't see it for Watson happening in New Orleans.

Is there such an animal in the draft, though? Mahommes is a once in a generation talent. It's incredible only two coaches realized that, Reid and SP.

Jamie appears to be inaccurate. Mac is a possiblity, but is projected to be drafted earlier by NE.

Mac has looked really good thus far @ the Senior bowl. If he keeps it up, he could be a top 15 pick.

From his tape at Bama, he can make the NFL throws in very small windows.

Too bad we have no "shot" at Zach Wilson. His pocket presence/awareness extends a lot of drives.

Please god no on Mac Jones. Alabama QBs don't do anything in the NFL today. I'm in the camp that Tua will be a flop. Jones has been receiving a great deal of praise from a local sports personality here in Denver who is at his 15 Senior Bowl by the name of Cecil Lammey. This guy is pretty good at seeing talent for the most part, but like anyone, he doesn't bat 1.000. He actually rave about Trey Hendrickson a few years ago. I just don't trust Alabama QBs, and Jones is nothing but a statue surrounded by the best talent on OL and WR/RB that college football can offer.

Understood completely brother. The draft & cashing in on legit/long-term QB is always a crap shoot however I like what I see on tape similar to what I saw from Burrow (he also had weapons at WR/RB at LSU) last season.

Mac throws guys open (anticipation), smart, doesn't make a lot of mental mistakes & has been well coached. But I get it, at the next level he could nose dive
