I doubt very much 20M$/yr would do it. It's going to be closer to 35M$/yr on a 3 year contract with something like 70M$ guaranteed.

In three years that $35M will be a bargain. The 2027 cap should be close to $300 million and the CBA requires that it all be spent sooner or later. Average QB salaries could be well over $40M and upper end ones should be in the $60M range or more.

They would do it in a heartbeat. Although the saints would probably file rape charges. I’m all for the best out there but the dude stays hurt and giving them 92 first rd picks is crazy

Is it just me or does Bobby Hebert come across as a D Carr HATER?

We could sign him @ 10M a season and he'd still complain about that move.

In his mind, Saint's best option is to continue 2023 with Andy Dalton as your starter at QB.

God, no. Bobby needs to stop drinking before the show. Bring back Dalton? Just as good as Carr? Even my wife has said if Dalton is starting for the Saints next season I have to find someone else to use her tickets because she isn't going to spend another season watching him at QB.

I just wonder what the Bobby Hebert of old would think or do if it were he in a similar situation. Wasn't he the Derek Carr of old ? Didn't he bolt to Atlanta as a pro? My recollection of Bobby Hebert was that of a choke master as a QB, always with an INT at the worst possible time.
