Personally, I'd rather see us kick ass next season and make a deep run in the playoffs. To each his own, I guess. :bng: |

The premise was that Hill as the QB and Carmichael as the OC wouldn't work, which I stated would be preferable to a 6 to 9 win season with Carr and no chance to advance in the playoffs. I'd personally rather see the Saints win the SB within the next decade, but to each their own I guess. |
Re: I'd like to try and get Derek Carr
Why is Carr getting cut taking so long, literally up to the last minute? Are the Raiders that ticked off at him?

It would have been hilarious if there was a technical issue and the Raiders didn't get their cut in on time. :p |

It makes sense that we would fill some perceived holes via free agency and address others in the draft. There's already a solid bit of talent on both sides of the ball. The other three teams in the division are no more poised to do any damage than us this season. All three have major questions at QB and have had extensive turnover in the coaching ranks. Yes, I too would like to see the Saints win a Super Bowl in the next decade. Going into the gutter first is not an avenue that I would expect to guarantee anything. I guess we'll just have to see how things play out and hope for the best, don't you agree? :bng: |
