Fumble, not his fault. INT, underthrown (slightly) but arguably not his fault and had that been completed we're talking about him as the #1 QB.
JW played horrible. He was shaken in the pocket and held the ball way too long. He threw one or two good balls but was sacked more than that. TH one int was because the wr sat down instead of continuing his route.

Winston got sacked once. Hill was sacked too by Patrick Queen running around behind the line of scrimmage after he had already thrown one interception and another should be pick that was dropped by the defender. Was he not holding it too long as well? Winston looked much more polished than Hill.

Yes, but you have an admitted bias Voo . NFL network has the game on Monday morning I believe. I’ll watch it then.

I'm the biggest Book supporter you will find and I agree with this. Winston needs a stretch of at least 5 games to show what he can do in this system. I think Hill is at his best when he is only used at QB for a few plays or a series where he has full energy and can really be a dual threat weapon without worrying about pacing himself. That being said, I can understand Payton being vague - keep the Packers guessing what they will be looking at in week 1.

His 1 int was 100% on the wr. Go back and look at how long they both held the ball and tell me who his issues with their release timing. I have it on dvr. I’ve watched it twice. Hill didn’t even attempt to leave the pocket and him running is his go to. He played 10x better. Even book played better than JW. You are going to be one sad individual when he’s no longer on the team in a month.

No bias here. If JW was the best option I’d go with him. He failed at simple swing passes. He is no longer a starting qb.

He did attempt to leave the pocket and got sacked by Patrick Queen. We’ve got two QB’s who didn’t put any points on the board versus one who led an 80 yard drive that culminated in him throwing a TD to LJ Humphrey. All of our points came off of Jameis Winston drives.

I didn't get to watch the game - have seen a few plays from the game. Not gonna judge what I haven't seen, but Winston's pick looked like he threw the ball to the wrong side of the WR. It also looked like the WR might have helped him out but didn't. Hill's looked like the receiver stopped short on the route?

Anyway, too early to make a call either way.

Maybe bias is the wrong word. But you have said even before this game that you don’t think Winston can cut it. Pardon me if I say it COULD be that you are seeing what you want as reinforcement. It doesn’t seem like Hill did anything more outstanding with the first string than Winston did with the second. I’ve not seen the game, but saying he’s cut before the season seems a little extreme.
