I agree with most of this WW, except for labeling him as ineffective and for saying it’s basically the same offense. Without Thomas, a proven secondary receiver to Thomas, and a capable pass catching TE it’s not the same offense. TB and TH had these things while filling in for an injured Brees. Due to Thomas’ selfishness Winston has had to operate without this luxury.
You take away the Carolina game where they got mauled and ran for something like 8 yards then Winston has 7 TDs, no Ints, and like a 62% completion percentage. I call that effective. |

I'd argue that as bad as the Giants are this season, they are better than any of the teams Taysom faced in his four games. The first three teams we have faced this season are all much better than what Taysom has faced.
