Sooner or later we are going to be put in a position where Winston is going to have to put it all on his shoulders. I’m not seeing it. Hill wouldn’t do any better.

Any idea at all when we might see Thomas?
I also totally forgot Smith was on the team. I guess that’s something to look forward to. For a game or two anyway.
Our D line is sick and it’s nice to see Jordan producing. When Onyamata gets back offenses are in deep doodoo. Rez has a point about Eli and company.

-Defense is legit.
-Harris is the best WR currently playing on the team. Gets open. Catches the ball.
-Throckmorton is a legit NFL guard.
-Watched Peat due to the criticism. Criticism legit.
-Winston struggles to read defenses and release the ball. Has no concept of throwing it away.
-New kicker wanted if Lutz isn't ready.

Peat was dreadful in pass blocking and almost as bad in run blocking, so pretty much a normal performance for him.

K Major has beaten that drum for a while; Peat has never been happy here except when he signed his contract, but was unhappy later when he realized he was bound here...

The bad news - since Loomis created all this cap space for this year, rolling the fiscal deficit onto future generations, he can't be cut Pre/Post 6/1 without a big hit...

Best case scenario - a post 6/1/2022 trade would be $4.6MIL in Dead Money and $10.85MIL in savings; so we'd likely see something where Peat and a R7 for a R5...

Ah, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Maybe Mac is a sore loser?

From what I read, it was more of Bill B escorting his players to the locker room ... he was never a "chatty patty" type coach after games anyway. Win, lose or draw.

I thought it was a good gesture by Jameis to go over and have a word with Mac, shake his hand afterwards. You don't need to be best buddies, but sportsmanship goes a long way.

The game is over, accept the L and move on .

Looked to me like Jones was less butt hurt and more pissed about throwing that 3rd pick. He was being consoled on the sideline as the game was ending. I'm sure the kid figures he let his team down. Our D lit 'em up pretty good yesterday.

It was nice to have CJ back on the field. Defense looks good out there and we came out with a win on the road.

Offensively, well, umm... we didn't turn the ball over.

Jameis has two INTs so far. That's on pace for 11-12 for the year. That's an improvement, neaux?

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win over the Patriots

I'm more than happy with playing strong defense, consistently running the football, and limiting turnovers. It's a great recipe for success especially in the post season.

My only concern right now is when we do need to get in a shoot out to win a football game, can we do it? I'm looking forward to having one of those types of game.
