Loomis should hang up the phone. Especially for a 6th-round pick.

The season will be a grind & you can never have too many quality corners ... especially in late November when the games get a little more difficult & playoff seedings are on the line.

We'll probably go back down to Puerto Rico (Dorado) around Christmas time.

My daughter will be a high school senior in 2023 & the school has a trip to Spain scheduled. Momma, Daddy & her brother can't wait to tag along for that one :p

I'm a big time MotoGP enthusiast so hopefully I'll get a chance to attend one of the races (either Sachsenring or Barcelona) while visiting.

You'll love Spain. Barcelona is real cool. Portugal also. If you all have time to do the French Riviera from Cannes to all the way to Monaco and maybe even a little bit of Italy, it might be worth it, although way more $. I took my wife and granddaughter to Paris/Bordeaux/Barcelona on a two week trip.... $$$

Spain is supposed to be nice. Of course watch out for the rain there…it falls mainly on the plain I’ve heard.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I don't think Trequan gets cut. If so, they'll bring him back after week 1.

Training camp awaits.

I agree. Tre'Quan definitely isn't a #1 or #2, but he is a better WR option over all others not named Thomas, Olave, Landry, or Callaway at this time. He has decent size and speed, good hands, and knows the system.

TreQuan had his chances too last year. If he's going to be a WR 4,5,6 then he has competition with lower salary. The rookies, Dixon and Merrick may edge them out. Gray stays too. So they keep one more WR. As far as RB, it's time for new blood. Keep the kid from Baylor. Same for TE, keep Krull. Smoke goes on the practice squad. We'll get more clarity for both lines during regular camp since they'll actually be hitting.

Yup. We'll see. I just think Tre'Quan has the trust of the staff. We'll see, though, with Kodi Burns as the new WR coach. That's a whole new set of eyes and guidance. Beyond Thomas, Landry, and Olave there's no promises.

As far as the RB situation shakes out, I posted this in the FA thread while I should have posted it here:

I predict a pickup, either from some other team’s cuts or a mid round draft pick trade, for some RB help. I’ve heard Carson’s name from Seattle mentioned before. The Seahawks seem to have a deep backfield.

I'd be very, VERY surprised if Carson ever plays a down in the NFL again based on his neck injury. He definitely shouldn't. His neck/vertebrae injury is pretty serious. Also, as someone who has him on a dynasty team in FF, reports from a FF site I follow, there is no timeline for his return at this point. I would be looking elsewhere.

We made it to within 90 km of Spain when we went to France for two weeks. We stayed at a friend's flat in Beziers for eight days and visited Carcassonne. The people were so friendly when they figured out we weren't British. LOL!

Cancel cable , cut the cord, install whole house antenna for free over the air TeeBee. Just make sure your antenna is about 30 feet up, in the attic. You only need 400mbs Internet service. Gig service is nice , but unnecessary , unless you got a bunch of cameras you're monitoring remotely.

We're fixing to build a greenhouse to grow our own legumes.

Based on last year's production (or lack thereof), I have him at a 6.

Not a good look when two undrafted guys are making plays and you aren't. Definitely not trying to knock on Trequan, but based on where he was drafted that's unacceptable.

Are you planning a trip?

Those sound like a great place to spend time. We are spending three weeks in Europe in September and had to drop spending a week in Greece but we are already planning our next adventure there. We will finish is Split Croatia where we will spend a week. We are hitting three countries but I'm most excited to explore Croatia who I discovered while planning the itinerary.

We can't even get half that speed in our neighborhood unless we pay more than what our satellite TV is costing us now.

Hard to compare based upon what we had under center and on the offensive line last year. None of our receivers had over 46 receptions. Tre'Quan only played in eleven games, two fewer that Harty. His catch percentage (64%), while not that great, was better than both Harty (61%) and Callaway (54.8%). He also scored as many TD's (3) as Harty on fewer targets. Last season was a total anomaly across the board on offense. Hard to glean much useful from the constant rotation of bodies game to game.

Cable 400 Mbs down is not full time, but on demand. The up speed is typically 20-25 Mbs.

The other slight problem is configuring a proper wired and wireless home network with MU MIMO. Most will have a regular router which bottlenecks and also wears out within 3-4 years. I invested in Ubiquiti Gear long ago. Totally changed home networking, future proofed really. I've got 5 access points for perfect coverage on the compound.

1000 Mbs... if Fiber, it's both up and down. If cable, they shortchange you on the uplink.

For a player who has been in the Saints system for 4 years now ...

Excuses.

Spin it as you like though.

Do you not agree that this past season was a jumbled mess with the turnstile at every position? Sure, I can see judging him and the others based on earlier years' performances, but what happened in 2021 with the entire team wasn't an excuse. It was a reason. Reasons are real while excuses are contrived. Or in other words ... Excuse is a reason or explanation given to justify a fault or offence. Reason is an explanation, cause or basis for something.

Re: 2022 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Our QB's were seldom given a chance to properly negotiate their progressions last year. Tre'Quan missed the first five games last season when our best QB, Winston, was running the show. Most of his season came with Siemian, Book, and Hill running for their lives. That is a fact, a truism. None of the receivers performed well over that stretch because the QB's could not get them the ball. I saw wide open receivers with the QB's dumping the ball to others that were covered on a consistent basis. It was ugly. 2021 game film needs to be thrown away or burned because it is meaningless.

Don't get me wrong........I'd love to add a healthy Carson to our stable of RBs. I'd just temper expectations of him return.

A RB I'd love to see us go after is Trey Sermon. He's obviously in Shanahan's doghouse, and buried on that depth chart. I wonder what price he could be had.
