Agreed. It is a little unnerving, that two "keys" to the team are coming off serious injury. It does kind of leave us with more question marks than confidence.

I agree. Yet the Strange thing though Subguy is I actually feel pretty good with Dalton as backup and the WR corps with Olave, Landry, Callaway, and Harty and the UDFAs on the team. With the potential of the D, I still feel pretty good with those players. Maybe I’m kidding myself, but 9-8 last year with adding Olave, Juice and Dalton alone (and a healthy O line) gives me hope…

IF our defense is as advertised, AND Winston falters, we could have a Trent Dilfer type take us all the way!

99.9 % of us ...

It's been a while.

Just listened to Nick's video above.

I like what he stated about MT's health not necessarily being a cause for concern (yet). Nick's been up close and in person.

I agree that - and to use his phrase - MT may not be the lynchpin for success, but like I said earlier a healthy MT makes us even better.

Because if he's NOT healthy then he'll have earned all the criticism that comes his way

In depth coverage from him right there. He also reminded us Thomas had some
great seasons in the past. Who knew ? 🙄

Dude, I was saying the same to thing someone. Dalton may end up being key.

He is largely forgotten when talking about the Saints. He has to receive some props, he played with the crappy Bengals for years.

He most definitely needs an O-Line. Being new and losing an anchor is a tad worrisome.

The other guy says as far as strictly fantasy numbers, giving Winston more options will inevitably lead to a decrease in production for Thomas. That doesn’t necessarily mean fewer wins for the Saints.

Both of them make decent points about his performance this year. Thomas needs to prove it. Not necessarily on a video where he's too far away to see if that's him.LOL Maybe he should get Winston's PR guy to shoot his videos.

That Thomas sprint video cracks me up too Rugby. If he doesn’t want to post videos about his workouts and status then that’s fine and obviously his prerogative.

It’s also my prerogative to compare the videos of him available to the videos of Winston. Comparing those is funny to me. Not knocking the players, just smiling at the videos

I just hope we don't start out in a hole playing catch up all year.

That's not healthy, my friend. Sean Payton, Dennis Allen, and the rest of the organization moved on from that and it's no longer an issue with any of them. It seems some fans are the only ones hanging onto that. None of us know the whole story and most likely never will.

But, yes, I too am looking forward to the very best pair of hands in football being back out there.

Normally that's how I look at life. But he let me down. He didn't take my advice and then wouldn't return my calls. I feel like my buddy, that I trusted, stole something precious from me. I'm talking about last season.

But I get your point. When I went to the BNG this morning I actually felt better about MT. So, thanks Guido.

Re: Michael Thomas Progress

Sean Payton, Drew Brees and other players Thomas screwed over by his antics still hold a grudge. It’s likely why Payton left…he didn’t want to deal with the nonsense from Thomas and the Headache of Kamara’s pending suspension.
