Re: Head Coach Search
Some items to consider..
- If the organization does not have a succession plan in place for Sean Payton's replacement, Loomis should be gone.
- If the organization did not know this was coming, Loomis should be gone. Surprises at this level only happen when there is a breakdown in relation ships and there being a breakdown in relation ships should have been a red flag to Loomis to get his ducks in order.
- New coaches from outside tend to being in 'their people', and that has the potential of changing our defense which is in a very good place right now.
- Sean should be considered done, and gone. Never to return again as that statement from him just broke the confidence of every player on that team. His replacement should be brought in ASAP to begin the transitions.
As far as the offense is concerned no changes would make it less consistent, clean the house. Many probably loved Sean and will start looking anyway just like Sean loved Drew and once Drew was gone so was his love of going to work each day.:bng:
