I have been on here forever and don't post a lot but I used to love coming here and reading what other fans had to say. It has become intolerable for the last year plus.

Guido, can you just simply try to reconcile the fact that you have rubbed people the wrong way for a good while and allow them their opinions and thoughts?

Saintsfan, brother you have proved the point but for the sake of everyone else on this board can we end the crusade on every single thread? Eventually your "point" loses it's value.

Good gracious guys, just act like good people and care for each other as Saints Fans! In the end that's all that matters here. Please don't make me leave this forum after 20+ years.

If either of you are inclined to respond, just please take a minute before doing so. I appreciate both of you and what you have to offer the forum, but this is for everyone.

Suffice it to say there is a point to be made, and I have most definitely made it. The problem is in making the point Speedo has turned it up full blast. To be clear any attempt to divide the board is juvenile, and that's what we're experiencing. He just can't stop it. I mean he really can.not.stop

This is, in fact, all it will take. Its necessary because simply ignoring the behavior means he will in time start attacking again. I have watched this happen precisely this way historically. He starts an argument, in his mind gets pinned in a corner, and then starts personally attacking. He then follows people around from one thread to the other harassing them until they complain or someone steps in.

Ironically, speedo is pretty much the only person here who formally reports anyone, and he reports a LOT of people for doing nothing more than engaging him in kind.

I can appreciate the drama my tactics have caused, and as I've stated I knew it going in and sincerely apologize to the rest of the board. As I have acknowledged in other threads, this is scorched Earth. It's why I have encouraged those annoyed by it to simply put me on iggy until this is over.

I'm not trying to win friends, cause anyone to choose a side, and I certainly have not had any part in the way most people here feel about little speedo. I want peace just like everyone else which is why this is happening funny enough.

It stops when speedo does precisely as you suggested and not before, because I don't care if he attacks me. I'm not going anywhere, but I do know of people who left here BECAUSE of speedo. I do care that this little fellow does something more than simply annoy people. People can no longer share their views here without being attacked by speedo.

The relentless posting of every damn tweet ever tweeted and flooding the board with all that crap is another issue, but it all goes back to his genuine need to feed his ego and play the victim role.

For the record, and just so everyone understands I and others have attempted to be reasonable with this little man, this is from 2018:

Again, I appreciate what everyone is currently seeing and some are annoyed with. Speedo has a very long history here, including race-baiting, which is when I decided to follow through. He will be along in a minute to tell you how he can not image why this is happening and how he's a poor victim. Wait for it...

Neither side is listening to reason at this point. Both sides are entrenched and neither seems to be going anywhere or inclined to change their position. At this point the only solution for the rest of us is to set one or both of them, depending on how you feel about the situation, to ignore. I did so a couple of weeks ago and it has been much better since.

Thanks for the input, jonny! I try my very best to keep all of my posts to Saints or other NFL related topics. I set that other guy to ignore, just like SFIAH and others have, several weeks ago. That is the simplest solution I guess. As far as I can tell it is all one-sided.

You need to apologize to the community, in a very non-generic way. This is how you will be held to account the next time your NPD overrides what common sense you may (or may not) have.
