Houston is demanding young starting players in return ... of their choice. Not to mention the loss of key draft capital.

It's a huge gamble that could cripple our franchise for years. I'll still be a huge fan if it happens, but I am extremely concerned that it could blow up in our face.

In other words you don't really know anything about anything and whatever they put in front of your face you'll eat.

We already know you're just a fanboy. Hush until the grownups make a decision little speedo...

Short contract, good price, and a proven quarterback. Do I think he's our long term solution? No I don't but he's good for us right now. He didn't cost us 240 million an 5 draft picks either.

We have so many different ways we now can go in the draft and some money to still sign a quality free agent or two. This was a win for Jameis and us.

You can't overstate the importance of that. Very hard for a team to function if the players don't like each other and if it's the QB nobody like then its almost impossible to succeed.

Yeah. That's one thing that Winston has always had going for him. His teammates have always loved him wherever he has been.

Remember the "Darnold......Should We?"

One post that didn't.......Still early, let's see what Matt Rhule and Joe Brady can do with Sam Darnold...

But the early results suggest Darnold will greatly improve under their tutelage...

Neither Darnold or Brady "Improved"

The Saints sorta remind me of the guy who takes his best shot and asks that newly single cheerleader hottie to the Sr. Prom.

Soooooo, after getting shot down, he ends up taking his date from the Jr. Prom last year! (And he realizes option B isn't that bad after all!) 🤣🤣🤣

Probably get further with last year’s date than the stuck-up cheerleader anyway….The cheerleader has got a rep for being a tease!

😂

I say turn him loose on the field. Something Payton never did.

Be careful what you ask for... LOL

Hopefully the defense is great enough to limit the risk. With that said, I am very sure there will be times Jameis is asked to go win a game, and hopefully he is up for the task.

I hope we are showing some interest in Jarvis Landry, Will Fuller, Scantling, etc. Route runners, guys who can consistently beat man coverage, reliable pass-catchers.

After MT we are limited at WR.

No more projects coach.

I’m also thinking Calloway has a good year. He was frequently up against other team’s #1 CBs last year. If Thomas is back, and they sign/draft another WR, then he could suddenly find he’s up against #3 CBs or Safetys. Considering he has already worked with Winston, this could lead to big games! That’s my hope anyway.

Tyreek Hill now wants to be traded, per source. :bng:
